The Church Choir
Music plays an important part of life at St. Mary Magdalen wiith our parish choir taking the musical lead at our main services. Although numbers are currently low, we are always on the look out for new members to join us - so if you have a passion for music, both traditional and modern why not contact Mary Munday the organist and choir mistress.
We are also members of the RSCM (Royal School of Church Music.)
Several times throughout the year, we join with members of other choirs and arrange concerts. Normally we have a performance of either Maunders' Olivet to Calvary or Stainers' Crucifixition during Holy Week, Spring and Summer Concerts and a Christmas Concert in December. At these events we sing everything from Abba through to Wagner!
